A passenger travelling on a Ryanair flight between Newcastle and Sunderland became so enraged when he was told he could not claim his jackpot winning prize during the flight that he ate all the lottery balls.
The passenger became so angry with the decision that cabin crew were forced to restrain him in the hold.
The flight was forced to turn around and return to Newcastle where police arrested the man, who will be charged with public order offences. Possibly next Thursday, when he has been given time to thaw out.
