The BBC has unveiled its top team for the royal wedding. Peaches Geldof has been called up to appeal to the 20-something viewers, while Jonathan Ross's views will be of interest to anyone who loves car-crash TV.
A trial run has already shown that Jonathan and Peaches will take a different view from the traditional fuddy-duddy Dimbleby one.
PG: So what's all this then, Jonathan?
JR: It's yer woyal wedding, init.
PG: Oh what so the Queen's like getting married? Lush!
JR: No, love, it's William and Kate.
PG: So it ain't the Queen but it's royal? How confusing is that!
JR: Never mind, love, just put yer best fwock on and don't say anything.
PG: I got this dress from Harvey Nicks. Didn't cost nothing.
JR: What, they gave it to you?
PG: Well, I don't suppose they'll miss it. Anyway, I'm on telly, so I don't have to pay for it.
JR: Well I don't know about you, ladies and gentlemen, but I for one am hoping that our Katie will wear that see-thwough dwess again, you know what I'm saying.
PG: So is like Katie the bridesmaid or something?
JR: And music is being pwovided by 4 Poofs And A Piano, and there's nothing they like better than to come up the aisle. What?
PG: Is that tall bloke one of them poofs then or what?
JR: No, love, that's Pwince William...
