Thanks Sid - it's the personal touch that makes this place so special.

Actually, I look forward immensely to having a pint with you, Scroat and the crew when I'm in the UK soon

You too Mr Westwell. I gather your Down Under at the moment. Look forward to a NB gathering on your return.

Back in June for 3 weeks, Scroat, and having a beer with the NB crowd is on top of the list of things to do, just ahead of "get married".

I'm buying. (The beer, not my beautiful bride.)

This is joyous news Marj! I will still just about be able to waddle out the door by then and few sherbets should help Baby Maz relax for the big day. Let us know your dates and we'll do an NB shindig - what fun!!!

Beg to differ Ricky my son, but the first round's mine - I neglected to buy one at the Chandos gig, much to my shame.

So that will be halves of mild all round then..? He said stereotypically.

What excellent news. I have already purchased an only recently out of date copy of the good pub guide (mine is the 2008 version)and therefore saved enough pennies to go out for a drink again. However, on the two occasions that I have been out with newsbiscuiteers, pregnancies or birth have soon followed.

I'll certainly bring precautions, Fernando. Very excited about seeing fellow biscuits in the flesh - I'll post the dates I'm back as soon as my fiancee reminds me of them, and we can arrange some shenanigi.

So that will be halves of mild all round then..?

    Happen it will, lad.

Did you not buy a round, Scroat? Gosh. Mary and I often talk about how we didn't notice.
Atonement beckons when lovely Rick hits town.
Any chance of this happy prospect being re-posted on a NICE thread?

I meant a whole new Chat Topic to honour the Antipodean Coming, rather than scrolling to the bowels of this one.
