Energy companies all over the UK today celebrated the release of a report which said their bill structure was complex and unfair.
'This is exactly what we were hoping for,' said Bob Greed of British Gas Electricity. 'Previous bills were far too easy to uderstand - some could be worked out in a matter of weeks, they were that simple.'
'However,' added Sir Robert Greed of British Electricity Gas, 'since we gave the computer programs to a bunch of 13 year olds and told them that unless they made the bills totally incomprehensible we would tell their mums which porno sites they've been visiting, our bills are now beyond understanding even by Stephen Hawking.'
'Furthermore,' said a delighted Lord Greed of British Energy Gas & Electricity, 'it means we can put the price up as much as we like, and no-one will realise until the bailiffs turn up demanding thousands of pounds.'
