Original post and subsequent comments deleted. Thanks for pointing this out - although always best to resist the temptation to allow the debate to get personally insulting.
i tried! Anyway, thank you!
What sort of (name of your most reviled group) bastard cnut would write something like that?
Damn, missed it, I'll have to make do with being vicariously outraged, again.
It was something to do with gingers, I think.
I heard it was a scathing attack on the gypsy community. And there's no place for that kind of thing on NB unless it targets only Canadian gypsies, right Rik?
I think it was something to do with the 100 metres - swift-footed bastards!
I think I was even more depressed that someone would put a joke that old and crap on NewsBiscuit and pretend they'd just invented it...
Ollie, you are correct. Although, Canadian gypsies prefer to be called Romaeh. (Pronounced Roma, eh?) While they are busy not tipping the waitress, they steal her engagement ring.
Sorry 'and another', this may not have been side-splitting comedy gold to the standard of your many subs, but if it made you more depressed I can live with that.
SO sorry reisler, I thought non-contributing readers were allowed to comment on the chat page.
Did you like the "Chink" joke then? And why do you want me to be depressed? That's not very nice, is it?
Let's all be nice please!
Better still, be reasonable.
Be-have!
Beehive? No, just a bad haircut.
oh be sensible
Obi Wan Kenobi
Oh blah dee, oh blah dah...
OB problem? Smelly dyslexics.
Sorry to anyone offended by the post. My subsequent comments, puerility at best. I extend the hand of friendship and hope to put this sorry episode behind us. To the moderator, a crate of Sam Smiths.
I concede that my use of the 16thC phrase linked to a Nationality may have been out of kilter with both the spirit of NB, and PC Britain.
My 'group' get some mildly 'harsh' coverage on NB (as do many) but feel that the 'R' word is an overused term.
Renzo, admit it now if your group is "Canadians". Then, come along quietly.
Whoah rikkor, can you actually SEE me on this thing?
I've said before "just North of Boston.."
Well, that could be Beverly Farms, which is vy. vy. chic.
Always wanted to visit Muskogee after that fine song, dang
