Asda's 'Queue Busting' has been so successful that their customer service teams are to double the size of teams dedicated to showing you, the customer, where there is a free till.
Tim Hollins, Head of Customer Services said the original idea was to have support staff with "little pointy signs" saying "Till Free Here". This has been so successful that elderly and otherwise just "bewildered" or "befuddled" customers have had trouble locating the "Till Free Here" person with the pointy sign.
The new system will see new recruits 'ghosting' these sign holding staff with even bigger signs which read "Queue Buster Here!", pointing at the person holding the sign pointing at the free till.
