Admittedly I was told to iplayer it by a friend on the grounds it's an absolute car crash so I was expecting mirthless crap, but wow does this chomp the royal prong.

Poor Ireland, land of Dave Allen, Dylan Moran, Graham Lineham and many other seriously good comedians and the BBC decided that this is the example of Irish humour that they want to showcase. It's like Jim Davidson getting an HBO special.

I liked it. But you've only got to read my subs to know I'm no judge of good comedy.

Mmmm. Thought I'd hate it. However, between you and me, I did chortle.

And whilst we're getting confessional, sometimes when my wife has put Glee on I'm not actually quite as cross as I pretend.

I feel better now I've shared.

That "Chalet Girl" film looks like it's going to be shit, mind.

It's got Bill Bailey in it. Trying to get into movies. "Don't do it mate!"

Yeh, occasional Chortle.
But too much fxxxkin swearing.

There's just no blxxdy need for it.
There seems to be trend with comedy shows like this nowadays where the star talks to camera (it happens on Miranda all the time) almost to check for your approval. While that is slightly wierd it has a fxxxkin charm to it. Ha

My mum sold my hobbyhorse to some gypsies in 1972. Cow. I'm hoping the Government go ahead with the idea of league tables for old people's homes, just so I know which one to put her in.
