Try starting with thalassaemia; the alpha variety is said to be superior to the beta version.
Might as well, I seem to be attempting the gag with every other condition going. Perhaps that's a good formula for satirical success; come up with a generic statement and then just drop in a series of alternating ailments until it’s funny.
