After quietly dictating for 30 years Hosni Mubarak has finally found fame at the age of 82. “It’s often the way in this game” he mused, “You plod away for years with hardly any acknowledgement and then you get one lucky break and you’re all over the front page.”
Wife, Suzanne, 69, was more philosophical. “Of course I understand that it’s what he’s been working for but I had become used to the anonymity. Fame comes with a price, you can’t open a paper or turn on the news nowadays without seeing HoMu this and HoMu that.”
