So, it's the superbowl again which this year will see the gritty determination and can do attitude of the Pittsburgh Cowboys take on the can do attitude and gritty determination of the Green Bay Cowboys - come one you cowboys! USA! USA! etc...
I've watched the last 5 superb owls and it's a good rock n roll show and advert-fest interrupted at random intervals by armoured men running into one another and shouting 'hut' like the army guys from near the end of Blues Brothers. I fucking love the superbowl in all it's chips, dips, pizza, beer, cheerleaders, homoerotic undertones and weird refereeing decisions. But then I used to watch too much WWE (or WWF as was), still think Tom Petty is fucking cool, and will happily buy nachos before going into the local multiplex to watch the latest Jason Statham piece of cinema.
So anyone else watching it? I might update this post during the game, until I get bored or fall asleep on the couch. Not sofa or settee; it's a couch tonight.
Rikkor - do you partake in this sort of thing?
It should be higher scoring than most premiership games, although less amusing than watching the are*nal lose a four goal lead, louder, brighter and weirder than most snooker frames I've ever seen, and a good excuse to eat rubbish food and drink on a school night.
Come on you Cowboys!
