Anthropologists from the South West Development Agency (SWDA) have found a previously un-contacted tribe on the Devon/Cornwall border. The tribe, numbering several hundred has a community along a riverbank in a currently secret location.
“It appears that they have a functioning hierarchy, with a rudimentary hospital, school, split level shopping plaza and extensive manufacturing facilities” said Zak Appleseed of the SWDA.
“We hope we can learn how a manufacturing company can survive in the UK, this sort of thing has not been seem in the South-West for a couple of decades.”
“We are currently observing their activity from a distance so we do not interfere with their complex culture, and there is the possibility we could introduce disease.”
Hi magnification web cams are trained on the community’s Police Station and airport.
It is thought they call themselves “working class” though how this is derived is unknown.
There are several communities of weekend homes in the area and there is a worry that the Range Rovers and Mercedes people carriers may be too much of a cultural shock for the “working class”.
It is believed that a BBC show following their activities maybe be broadcast live later in the year, a spokesmouth for the BBC apologized in advance. “We hope we can televise first contact with the tribe” said Tristram o’Ponsonby. “We will treat this in a sensitive way, and hope our viewers will enjoy such a cultural landmark. Jason Manford will host the show, or Joe Pasquale if wet.”

You beat me to it. I was thinking along the lines of the House of Lords having no contact witht he real world for generations but being at risk from the growing Big Society... Have some starry things.
