Dr Keith Gilberts (48) head teacher of Saxthrupton secondary school in Norfolk has spoken up in defence of the A’ Level choices at his school. This follows news that elite university body the Russell Group (whose membership includes 19 of the UK's top higher education establishments, and Southampton University) warned students to choose their A’ Level subjects with care.
In a badly spelt email to the Press Association, Dr Gilberts defends the so called 'soft subjects' taught at his school such as 'Milky things', 'The Geography of Where's Wally' and 'Matt Lucas Studies', claiming that "...they're rellevence is up their with Mathmatiques, phisyzics and Latino".
Norfolk County Council's recently restructured 'Department for Education and Jeremy Clarkson Abuse Rebuttals' was, according to a rather abusive voicemail message "...unavailable for ****ing comment, and vestigial webbing is perfectly normal".
Subsequent calls to Saxthrupton school for an interview with Dr Gilberts, were thwarted as the school's phone appears to be on divert to 'We Buy Any Car Dot Con' - and apparently they don't!
