Australia is hoping that the Cyclone soon to tour their sodding, oops, I mean sodden, country will not be a long one.
"Having studied our recent form when visited by such storms, we think the best we can hope is it's over in a few hours. We are confident that in a one day situation, we can prevail, but we are very concerned that should it be a 5 day encounter we may well not have the defences to cope. That said, even if it is forecast to last 5 days, it could be over sooner than we expect, but no doubt with disastrous consequences for Australia. We have only just resumed normal service following the floods of tears brought upon us by what we will call a 'cloud of Ashes'".
Due to insufficient boats, any more flooding will mean people will have to utilise rafts called 'Rickies' and propel themselves along with poles. An as yet un-named Australian sportsmen was heard to mutter that "Everyone will be complaining about Ricky Punting for sure"....
