Several posters have been displayed around Tooting, criticising Theresa May. The Metropolitan Police said it had questioned local man Woolfie Smith last night.
Known to many as "Citizen", Smith was notorious in the 80’s as the leader of the Tooting Popular Front, and for shouting, “Power to the people” whilst raising a clenched fist.
Mr Smith, now a middle-class family man working as a dentist, was later released without charge. A Police spokesman described him as “not as funny as we remembered”.
