The spontaneous protests spreading across North Africa is feared to have come ashore in England. Groups of aging protesters took to the streets of Eastbourne chanting “What do we want?” “We don’t know” - “When do we want it” “...what?” before asking if they had had their tea yet.

offlineMemberSeveral members of the crack Sussex Police Riot squad were struck down by Zimmer frames and run over by mobility scooters.
Although they were wielding their batons the police were slowly, very slowly beaten back down King Edward's Parade and onto the Western Lawns by a rowdy group of pensioners armed with walking sticks.
Relief for the police only came when Doris Seed, 86, realised it was Friday, Fish&Chip day, so she rounded her OAP thugs up and they headed off to Harry Ramsdens on Terminus Road for the Friday OAP Special.
