Commuters in London's busy King's Cross Station were stunned this morning when a man walked through the station openly smiling.
Whilst initially he passed through a large section of the station without being noticed due to everyone else not looking up for fear of making eye contact with anyone; a coffee shop worker cleaning some 'outside' tables glanced up by accident and noticed the broad grin. It was his loud gasp of shock that caused other intrigued passers by to look up. The reaction soon spread as the station almost drew to a standstill, whilst the smiling man continued happily on his way, stopping only briefly to purchase a paper and a bottle of water. And some Skittles.
The identity of the man remains unknown, as do the reasons for his cheery demeanour, and whilst onlookers voiced their suspicions that he was probably "not from London", their main theory is that it "Must be a sketch for some TV comedy show".
