Sales of Jacob's Crackers have rocketed since Guy Ritchie's gangster romcom Snatch, admits biscuit manufacturer. In the movie tough gangster Brick Top, played by Alan Ford, threatens to cut off someone's 'jacobs'. Millions of viewers have googled cockney rhyming slang, and since finding out Jacob's Crackers is slang for 'knackers' (meaning testicles) they've been going like hot cakes.
Ford and Ritchie have agreed to team up for a commercial. The tagline has Mr. Ford saying, 'Buy Jacobs crackers, or I'll cut off your knackers.' Guy Ritchie says he's extremely pleased with the advert, and is also hoping that with focus on genitalia, renewed interest in the film's title will increase his interest in vagina's.
