Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt and two other guys in blue denim are going back on the road. They hardly dare stop in case they seize up. But what’s life like on tour for the Quo these days? Francis explains. “Our hell-raising days are over. Groupies who manage to sneak into our dressing room are usually asked to make up a foursome at bridge. And after a gig we all look forward to a mug of Horlicks and an early night. We don’t trash hotels any more; we tidy up. Rick likes to do a little light dusting. Sometimes we get one of the other guys to do it. I can never remember their names.
"Whenever we have a few minutes to spare, we sit around and learn some new chords... Nah, just kidding!”...
