New owner of Channel 5 Richard Desmond has angrily denied that he is taking the station downmarket and has pledged to produce his own programmes to rival anything that the BBC and ITV can put out.

When I was at University, we discussed the merits of a "Porn" button on the remotes*, that allowed you to pornify a programme you were watching if it was getting dull.
Or if it looked like the on-screen action was going to get steamy, but you knew it wouldn't because it was a day-time Australian soap or Countdown or something."Press the Porn button!"

offlineMemberI think it's time to pornify not only tv programmes and films, but stage plays and operas also. I mean, come on, it's the 21st century. We've all seen tons of porn online (so I've heard) and are so used to watching people have sex, anything less explicit just doesn't seem realistic.
Imagine a Don Giovanni, or The Taming of the Shrew, featuring all the bedroom antics to classical text. Art just couldn't get any better.
