Whilst a lot of consumers have to shop around more to make ends meet they are suspicious by the tactic of Tesco to advertise shopping with what is perceived to be another company. The slogan that every lidl helps when it comes to save money on your shopping basket seems correct but comes at a risk of getting confused by those foreign product names, as after all foreign labels are normally understood to be designer labels and designer food should be treated with suspicion as it smells of genetic engineering.
