E4 have announced the launch of a new Phil and Kirsty show based on the popular Location, location, location format. We have seen a spin off in the form of Re-Location Location said E4 spokesman Martin Spooner, and this seems the logical next step.
The series will see the popular duo attempting to find new homes for people who need to be rehoused in a hurry under the witness relocation scheme. Obviously there will be the need for some pixilation of faces, buildings, street names, landmarks and passers by, but we think the show is going to be a great success. If anything we will probably see the viewer base increase as the gangland community tune in for the challenge of trying to identify people who may be of interest to them or their acquaintances.
It is a surprise that the show has been commissioned at all following the untimely death of one of the house hunters in the pilot episode after Kirsty suggested knocking through a wall to reveal "wonderful views of the sun setting over the far side of Ullswater".
"It was a regrettable incident from which we have learnt, and we can assure househunters and the crown prosecution service that we won't be responsible for the acquittal of any more major crime figures", said Spooner.
