British authorities said that the amounts of dioxin - which is linked to the development of cancer in humans - in any egg would be very small, and not enough to be dangerous. "Whether it went into mayonnaise, pastries, I don't know", said a spokesman, "Besides only poor people who buy the cheap stuff are likely to be affected and we got too many of them already. Those of us who eat organic or are vegan should be alright".

Dioxins - biggest fuss about nothing ever. The biggest threats to food safety are invariably perfectly 'natural' e.g. salmonella or the result of bad practice e.g. BSE on the part of suppliers driven to cut corners by our demand for cheap food.
Noting the country of origin, these latest dioxins are of the highest quality.
