Keiron Sharpley, a three-year old from Swindon, Wilts, was today reported as still playing in the box that his main Christmas present came in.
Mother Georgia Sharpley, 34, said he was wide-eyed with excitement on Christmas morning when he saw what was waiting for him. 'He tore at the wrapping paper then sat there looking open-mouthed at the huge cardboard box. We helped him open the box and get his present out, then he just climbed into the box and made rmmm rmmm noises.'
The gift, which Mrs Sharpley said was the latest model costing over £300, remained unloved and ignored. 'He didn't even bother to watch with a barely-contained sense of anticipation when we plugged it in and hooked it up. He just briefly peered at us over the top of the box, then went back to whatever imaginary game he was playing.'
The gift is now on eBay (unboxed).
