Following the success of internet show "Robert's Web", starring Robert Webb, Channel Four has announced it's intention to produce two more shows based on this ingenious idea.
In the New year we can look forward to a gardening show called "Robert's Plants" hosted by the lead singer of rock band Led Zepplin, and "Alan's Cars", a rival to the BBC's "Top Gear", presented by toothy comedian Alan Carr.
There will be an attempt to recreate the on screen chemistry of Kirsty and Phil with a property show called “Emmon and Kelly’s Homes”, and a new Japanese cookery show, starring actor and newscaster brothers, “David and Jon’s Sushi’s”.
Channel Five are considering an alternative to “Spring Watch” fronted by a former Page Three Model in “Sam’s Foxes”, and a Fair Isle Knitting show called “Vince’s Cables”.
There is also the possibility of a late night political show with Stefan Kunz, running back to back with an astronomy show called “Ringo's Stars”.
Brian Cox and Alan Cummings are still waiting for a decision from the Bravo channel.
More Soon.
