Newsdesks are jammed today as the great (confused) British Public attempt to 'work out' the difference between Vince Cables and the US Cables. "We want to protect our special relationship," said PM Cameron, "and we thought the best way would be to have a media frenzy around someone with the name 'Cables' to confuse the proles. Don't forget, there's also Cable TV, so I expect they've really got their knickers in a twist over this." The US Cables were not available for comment.
