I saw this posting on a job site
[name witTheld] is now Assistant Editor of the New Statesman. She was previously a Commissioning Editor on the Features Desk at the Daily Mail. [NAME WITHHELD] will now be using her married name, [[DOUBLE BARRELED NAME] , and she can be reached at WHATEVER@newstatesman.co.uk. Her website can be viewed at [FAIRPLAYTOHERINWHATEVERSHEDOEs.COM]
I want to ask a really stoopid question.
How can you work for the Daily Mail one day, and the News Statesman the next?
Now, my question is:
My confession is: I quite like reading the Daily Mail.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a barking mad right wing racist. I think it's quite well written, that's all. it's quite readable.
I've been too ashamed to admit it so far, because I like Oxbridge (never met him) and Golgo (he seems quite a sweet and decent sort and he must live near me). I always feel slightly ashamed because of my Daily Mail fixation.
but if left wing people work for it to, surely I'm not a bad man!
Am I a nasty sort?
