I'm Irish, you ignorant Yankee twat. Assange was handed over by the Brits because of allegations of rape. Or do you think that the rights of those two women count for nothing because he's a 'freedom fighter'? Even if you do think that's fair and just, and their suffering is a price worth paying, it doesn't alter the fact that U.S. forces are responsible for killing and injuring numerous British, Dutch, German and other allies (including civilian aid workers) in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan... the list goes on.

If I believe what I have read so far, the "rape" involves consensual sex on two separate occasions with different women where a condom was not employed. I'm sure there are hundreds of men in Swedish jails doing hard (!) time on this charge as we speak.
