After years of busking it in residential sales, estate agent Jimmy Gates has decided to re-train as a Liberal Democrat MP.
Jimmy explained that business has been slow in the residential property market. “And I understand there’s good money to be made in Westminster,” he said.
He feels he has the rectitude and moral fibre to go all the way to the top in the Liberal Democrat Party. Asked about his policies, he explained that they were more like “guidelines” before adding: “It’s kind of like property ads and the Trade Descriptions Act – you shouldn’t really get too hung up about the details.”
Having been educated at Eaton and Cambridge, Jimmy is looking forward to rekindling contacts with Cabinet Ministers and is hopeful that a position will soon be made available for him as well.
