I thought he wore one because he has scarring (he's one mutation of an ugly player though) but there's some gruesome looking players out there. I was watching Ashley Young and his looked ridiculous. He had this small head poking through and it looked like he was "gurnin' through a braffin'."

Is poking your head through a soft toilet seat the height of fashion?
