Rather than waste millions of lottery money trying to train UK's youth to be future athletes, why not just build the Olympics around sports that they train for every day.

For example, the 400m running away from the cops, and hurling the fire extinguisher.

More sports:
The 100 metre bag-snatch.
Abuse-hurling. (A few Olympians in that sport can be found on this site ).
Re-cycling. (We'd always lose to Germany).
