Unemployed and desperate puppett characters the Subterraneans from the sixties TV show Stingray were today found to be responsible for a bank robbery over the weekend in Paris. It's believed that they 'bored into the vault from their underground lair' said Detective Troy Tempest and were only discovered to have done the crime by the vain actions of their Chief Teufel the Terrible after he left a long monologue of a message bragging of his crime on the banks CCTV. He went on to make the rather contradictive statement of how they will once more rule the earth from under the sea but Tempest dismissed this as scaremongering saying ' they haven't had pot to piss in for the last thirty years since the show finished and now they've done this crime and confessed to it on CCTV they will be doing some serious slopping out time at his Presidents Pleasure instead of thinking about world domination'.We're also led to believe that the creator of the series Gerry Anderson is to be arrested as an accessory to the crime for creating the subterraneans in the first place.
