Facebook have reported that their concerns about launching their service in the UK have been realised as a number of their servers seem to have lost the will to process information anymore.
"We always knew there was a danger when we launched in the UK that adverse weather condition would result in an overload of pointless, inane, repetitive mind numbingly boring posts. We didn't expect our servers to lose the will to live though."
The result of continual drival about, 'ain't it cold, is it snowing in Nottinham? and ah the lovely white stuff' have caused a number of servers in the States to start returning '673 - what the fcuk!" errors and shut down.
The team at Facebook are now considering correcting the overload by injecting spoof comments into UK accounts to make it look like British users actually have a life.
