I recently went to my doctor and said "Well, I'm 47 and, from what I've read, I ought to be having 'the test'." I was hugely relieved when he said that, unless I had particular reason for concern, he'd recommend waiting until I'm about 60.
Perhaps he just doesn't fancy me.
