No: Ireland is Thatcher's promised land, a farcical fate which awaits us all. That said, it is also true that Hell is presentaly freezing over and providence no longer designates who wins at CasinoCap.
In the meantime, this Irish shanty re-write was censored on The Guardian. Can't be all that bad, then:

There is them that makes money the whole time they sleep
There is many have houses that they canna keep
There is some that have jobs
That not even wogs
Will rise of a mornin’ the wages to seek.Oh it’s Nay! No! Never! No-nay-never no more!
Will gangsters and banksters be safe on our shores.Oi went to the market me fat pig to sell
An’ when I got there ‘tis sorry to tell:
Our own hedge funds had hijacked
All the taties and hog backs
An’ the sheriff and army and gardai as well.So it’s Nay! No! Never! No-nay-never no more!
Will gangsters and banksters be safe on our shores.I’ll tell thee a riddle of one two and three:
A Frog, Scot and Irish sat under a tree,
An’ a branch of it fell
On the Never-Do-Well:
Not on Paddy or Marcel or Mac, but on thee.Posted 2 years ago #
