England Twitter Coach, Glyn McGrarr, is delighted with England's tweets during the tour so far but knows there is a long way to go and has asked the players not to show complancency or to sit back and just expect it to happen. There had been inital concerns from many tweeple about hiring an ex-Aussie twitterer.
"Da lads are on fire at the moment. We've sprinkled the twitosphere with some great tweets and it's up to the Aussies to follow that," tweeted Glyn during his twinterview.
"We got some twewbies and of course, Swanny who is a life member of the twitterati and up for 'Tweeter of the Year'. I rate him highly and put him up there with Stephen Fry," he tweeted without reply.
"People ask 'how is the twittworking?' and I tell them not to worry. Pieterson is working very hard," he sent relentlessly.
The Aussies have been a disappointment so far and decided to concentrate solely on their cricket. They've sent the odd tweetsult but have chosen a course of twabstinence for England's Ashes twour. It's unusual for them not to mistweet the opposition.
England are certainly missing their talismanic tweetaholic, Freddie Flintoff, who was captain last time England were twatted in Australia.
"Interview went well today. I can only give Strauss and the team the tools they need. I think anyone looking at the squad at this present time can see how many tools this team has got. BFN." tweeted Glyn later on.
