She says criticism of the "deathly silence" on Munchkin welfare since the Wizard of Oz was forced to climb down last year were completely unfounded.
At a news conference, Dorothy and her legal team from The Lollipop League sharply criticised what they said were negative statements fed to the press by a team of flying monkeys regarding the campaign.
"The implication (is) that we have somehow disseminated falsehoods, telling them that if they came here they would ... get a brain, a heart and courage. This is absolutely and completely untrue," Dorothy said. "The Munchkins have earned the right to live here because of their contribution to the defeat of the Wicked Witch of the East."
