Another great British cliche was mutated last night, the fifth in as many days. It happened in the Crown and Greyhound in Dulwich, as the subject of vermin came under discussion.
The mutation happened after a man nursing a pint of lager began to announced that he hates rats. This
Oh fuck, I can't be bothered.....
"You don't get many of them to the pound, eh?" (Usually said after a large-bosomed woman has left the lift and the doors have just slid shut again, leaving you alone with the man who wants you to know he's straight.)
Then you say, "Yeah...I like boobs...*sigh*...my Mum had big boobs..."

So, you'd think the army would be desperate to recruit more cowards.
And yet, during basic training, they appear to weed them all out.
It's no wonder this once great country is in a mess

Every time I sweep up leaves, my neighbour says to me, "You can do mine when you've finished."
And I always smile and say something like "These are yours and that's why when I collect them I tip them onto your side. And I'll do it on a windy day so it spreads all over your garden and next time I say 'it's about time you cut your overgrown obtrusive trees' then you may do something about it, you massive tool."
That's fairly factual.
