Police today warned householders to be on the lookout for a man posing as a Taliban negotiator calling door to door offering to broker a peace deal. "He's very convincing, dark skin, beard the lot" claimed a police spokeman. "People should ask to see photo ID from anyone offering peace in our time, after all if the offer looks to good to be true or requires cash to close the deal it's probably an imposter"
The man is believe to have already duped Western diplomats out of large wadges of money.
