A British tourist was today laughing off, his experience in a former Soviet era Gulag.
John Gorm who had booked his holiday online, was blissfully unaware at the time that a translation error would lead to a 2 year incarceration in the Gulag, as opposed to the 2 weeks in at self catering log cabin he had expected. John said "it could have been worse, they kept trying to get me to go out in the exercise yard but I declined their offer".
ABTA declined to comment on the matter.
