Tapping your skin with a finger could soon be the way you interact with gadgets. US developers suggest that the new system, called Skinput, can be learned in about 20 minutes.
However, it is expected that the next generation of joystick controlled games will come naturally to the average male gamer.

One should not preclude the idea that girls could, with some practice, determination and encouragement, get to grips with this new fangled technology. Then they could try the joystick.
