Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay has signed a new book deal after a TV interview he gave consisting entirely of father-in-law jokes became an internet viral sensation. Endorsements of pipes, slippers and golf clubs sre set to follow.
A spin-off TV series is also planned. Ramsay will appear as a 1970s style housewife discussing his father-in-law with a neighbour over the garden fence. Actors approached to play the neighbour include Roy Barraclough, Henry McGee and Hugh Paddick. Researchers were said last night to be desperately combing Wikipedia to determine if any of them were still alive.
Asked to comment on his father-in-law, Ramsay said “I would throw him to the lions at the f*cking zoo but I’d get done for cruelty to f*cking animals”.
“He fell down a f*cking wishing well the other week. I was amazed – I never knew they f*cking worked! I saw six blokes beating him up and my wife asked if we should help – I said f*ck that, six of them should be enough”.
“He’s a f*cking ungrateful b*stard. We used to go to f*cking Birmingham every week to see him. He lived in London but he looked better from Birmingham”.
Ramsay said his father-in-law would be unavailable for comment last night. “ I haven’t spoken to him for eighteen f*cking months. I don’t like to f*cking interrupt him”
Asked to come up with a new joke to mark the announcement, Ramsay quipped “My father-in-law is a f**cking c*nt”.
