BBC “Blue-sky think-tank” papers suggest that the corporation is considering launching an HD reality fire channel, recreating memorable fires of the past in your own living room. The crackling log-fire, complete with stereo crackle, the gratifying Welsh steam coal fire, popular so many years ago and even the ethnic Camel-dung fire, so popular in the great deserts of the world. It is also proposed to introduce the seasonal elements, the Guy Fawkes complete with bangers, rockets, air bombs, all in glorious stereo and religious festivals such as Diwali (festival of lights) and Christmas, complete with hanging stockings. So far the BBC have refused to comment!
