   Hi All,

   Just a quick reminder to check that your email details on the site are up to date. With '15 Years of Typos' we hit a few problems contacting authors, which meant in some cases some writers were not used.

   From time to time, I'll add names to this thread, where we think their email address may no longer be active.

   Wren, I've got 2 email addresses: old & new (both work fine) - you've contacted me on the old one

   I tried updating the email address, but it ignores the new one

   This might explain why some folk have disappeared

   One for SuperTechGuy, I think

   Nope, my backroom still needs attention

   After you rooted about in there, nothing had changed

   So I tried again (incorrectly as it happens) - and it changed ! But wrongly

   Now, it's a hybrid of the old & new email, and still can't change it

   I've tried clearing the caches - this sometimes helps
   I've tried a different browser (IE11 instead of the usual Edge Chromium)

   Nothing

    My picture disappeared too when I edited my email details. I don't see any Gravatar link.

    Someone's kindly corrected my email address, but to the old one, not the new. I still can't set the new one address

    I think you need to go to Gravitar and update the email address there. The pictures are not linked to Newsbiscuit.

    If the email address used here is also the email used on Gravatar, then NB (and other websites) automatically selects the default pic from your Gravatar a/c

    If not, then one of those square patterns is chosen

    Thanks Wren and Sinnick, but I still can't get my profile image back, despite putting it on a Gravatar profile with the same email as I use for NB.

    I suspect some problem with the Gravatar website itself, maybe to do with very old accounts there

    I've emailed them about my difficulties, hopefully that will move things forward, but I'm not holding my breath
