I once had a meal in the revolving restaurant at the Hyatt in Phoenix. After the first course I began to wonder why it was revolving, the view looked the same all the way round.

Jeni, best of luck, but read the fine print. I think you may actually be getting millions of Ethiopian lire.

Ram Blesnake, I can top that. I was in the revolving Hyatt restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa in the 1970's. America has a thing for 360-degree views of nothing particularly interesting.

Oh, there's still one (in a Hyatt) in San Francisco. That one is worth walking around quickly and returning to the elevator before you have to purchase an overly expensive drink.
