Not wishing to be a bore, but the rivets would be aluminium and they have been using glue on aircraft frames for many decades.
Hope they don't use glue on the engines or it's the last time I have ever set foot on a airplane.
Never, ever go to the Sidney Opera House. It is held together with Araldite, and string.
Too late in my case although I managed to survive the experience and land safely back in circular quay.
