Yup. We felt that NB was a team effort, with many stories evolving in the writer's room from valuable contributions/feedback from lots of people. All writers were equally valued at the end of the book.

@ID
And I'm too impatient to wait for it to come round in the bargain book bin.
A week was too long to wait?

Who’s this “Golgol13” chap though?

Saved myself a trip to the late night garage on Christmas Eve and ordered one for Mrs D. Hope it’s better than a tow rope and an air freshener.
Thanks to all those involved, looking forward to reading it after she’s thrown it at me.

If it doesn't have 'better than a tow rope and an air freshener' on the back cover I'm going to be very disappointed.

Well that's the bar set quite low - and almost certainly about to miss it. There's always the second edition.

Do annoying ads pop up as you flick through the pages

Who’s this “Golgol13” chap though?
Surely there's a clue in the book's title?

If nothing else, this is like a Christmas reunion. Hi jp, good to hear from you

My God - how's it hanging JP?

You may all be in the first frenzy of buying it, but I claim the honour of being the first to have returned my purchase to Amazon for a refund. Definitely ahead of the peloton there.

There's always the second edition.
I remember a cynical comment about a not-very-good author that the rare edition of his books were the second editions.

JP! Merry Xmas. We've still not had an 1886th JP in all these years

Just ordered a second copy as a present for a friend. Amazon have discounted the book by 97 pence
Possible reasons for this is:
1. Amazon are recognising I've bought one already and are being nice to me
2. Amazon are being nice to Prime members
3. Amazon have noticed this is selling well and want to help push it by reducing the priceOr none of the above. However, if you or a friend are umming and ahhing over whether to buy a first, second or nth copy can I suggest you mosey over to Amazon to see if they are offering the price reduction to everyone? No idea if it is general or how long it will last - must be worth a look.
