Prime Minister David Cameron and President Nicolas Sarkozy will today outline plans, at their London summit, to make better use of defence resources. Mr Cameron confirmed the following practical measures had already been agreed:
- France will be responsible for white flags, instruments of surrender, capitulation strategies, collaboration with the enemy and supplying 'friendly fire' weapons
- UK will continue to take casualties, operate with below par equipment and stick it out to the end.
In a further development, Mr Cameron also confirmed that Graham Norton would be entertaining French troops stationed in the Polynesian Islands theatre of war. In exchange, France has agreed to allow Carla Bruni's latest CD to be tested for harmful effects on the human population.
