Cheshire Man, Geoffery Watson, has today publicly thanked his friends for pointing out that everything he saw was, in fact, 'just a trick'. It all began when Geoff went to Las Vegas and caught a magic show - Merlin the Magical Magician of Magic.
The show is full of all sort of amazing things such as elephants disappearing, men appearing to fly, women being dissected and audience members being guillotined. It was packed full of wonder and amazement. Geoff returned home and couldn't wait to tell his friends about it.
"It was magnificent and I told my friends what I had seen and how much I enjoyed it. After I described each part of the show my friends kept chipping in. 'It's a trick,' said one. 'It's just an illusion,' said another. 'It's clever but not real,' added a third.
"I'm so grateful that they pointed this out. When I went to see 'Merlin the Magical Magician of Magic' I was oblivious to the fact it was just tricks and illusions. It'll certainly come in handy next time I watch a magic show," said Geoff.
Geoff's lucky to have such good and helpful friends and it's not the first time that his mates have helped him out. They pointed out that the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were done on computers and that the muppets are operated by people.
