Lots of truth in humour

A friend of mine is active in the LibDems (not sure what that means, but bear with me): commented that the last meeting was a very unhappy affair, with many members threatening to leave. I wonder what would happen if Cleggy gets disowned by his party ...

Clegg is taking quite a hammering over this Lib/Dem coalition set up but can you IMAGINE what these cuts WOULD be like had his mob not been there to influence decision making. And let’s not pretend they have no influence, that would be naive in the extreme.
As ever, history will tell how important the Lib/Dem voice has been in all this.
