Whilst compiling yet another pointless report for another tedious angle on the Spending Review, a BBC researcher was astounded to discover that the BBC picture library does not actually contain any pictures of a library.
"I couldn't believe it" he said. "We have an unbelievable amount of useless crap footage there that will never be used, plus the usual junk we turn out and label "library pictures" at the drop of a hat, but do we have a library picture of a library when I need one? Do we balls."
"I'll dig out footage of some backwater town hall and Photoshop the word "library" onto it. That'll do."
